How large is its tank? Maybe your tank is too small and it feels threatened, hence the jumping. And maybe during its hitting itself against the glass, it did itself an injury, and so slowed down.
Keep an eye on it. Make sure it's eating and is drinking. If not, you will have to give it water from an eyedropper and hand-feed it. A slurry of canned cat food, peach baby food, and a bit of water is good for feeding from an eyedropper.
