first lizard

My husbands 15 year old cousin is looking into getting a lizard but he and his mother are not sure what kind would be good for him to get for a first time lizard, I was thinking a leopard gecko would be good but just need to find some good sites on leopard gecko care, for him so I can help make sure he gets everything he needs and learns everything he needs to know about lizard care. Any other good suggestions for a first time lizard would be great.
