Ok since you want a leo.... You need: 10-20 gal long tank, screen top ,under the tank heat,2 hides (1 dry , 1 moist)short things to climb on(flat rocks, sticks).
Now for the most important parts substrate and food. Keep babies stricktly on paper towels (they tend to ingest sand )it's easy to clean. For adults try to get calcium carbonte (it's the safest) but if you watch them REAL close really fine sand is ok.
You can feed them gutloaded mealworms or crickets and dust them with calcium powder. I feed babies everyday and adults every othewr day. They will eat anywhere from 5-10 crickets each. Keep only one gecko per enclosure for health and safety.Males will fight each other.
Make sure that any handling is done under supervision as thier tails will come off if grabed and although gentle they are still little and fragile. The best way to hadle is over a bed or close to a surface in case they get startled and jump. let them walk on you do not hold grab or squeeze them.
They can live for up to 20 yrs so make sure YOU want a long term pet.
Good luck!
