A bearded dragon would fit the tank, but would a bearded dragon fit you? Do some checking, the bearded dragon forum here is good. Also, remember that if you get a baby, no matter what species, a 55 gal will bo TOO big for awhile. You'll need to partition it off or get a smaller tank to start them in, otherwise alot of them have trouble finding their food, water, etc. Look around, and good luck!:)
