: Help my leapard gecko keeps shedding his skin and does not seem to be eating. His front leg looks funny. Please any ideas. Thanks Mary
Thought I'd look in, I frequent a couple of other forums....I've got leopard geckos, water dragons, bearded dragons, and Okinawan tree lizards. For the moisture, get a shallow dish that he can get in and out of easily, and keep damp moss in it. Cover it with a hide, the round ceramic ones work well. As for his leg, what do you mean by "looks funny"? Is it mishappen, or is he limping? This could be early stages of metabolic bone disease, and a trip to your herp vet would be in order. Not eating....could be parasites, which your vet could check out easily with a stool sample. Good luck!:)
