Might be too dry in his tank. MAybe mist it a little or put a damp piece of papertowel or moss under his hide to make it more humid. Nothing wrong with helpin out a little either. Sometimes mine will have a little trouble getting it offa his arms so ill get some tongs and gently help him. Good luck~Andy
