My dragon has been fine and otherwise healthy until this morning. I woke up, checked on her, and she just didnt look right. When I picked her up she seemed a little lethargic. I tried to hold her, I put her into a warm bath, thinking she may have just been sleepy. She usually sleeps pretty late. She was only in there a minute and went wild. I got her out and tried to hold her, she started opening her mouth, like a gasp. Then she started thrashing her head from side to side. Alot of saliva flew out, on my shirt. In it was the remains of what looks like some type of beetle. Could she be choked on something. I only feed her crickets so I dont know where this came from. Could it have hurt her or poisoned her? Shes back in her cage now, a little calmer but shes still sitting with her mouth partially opened. Please help!! I dont know what to do and the nearest vet that treats herps is almost 2 hrs away. Not to mention that this is Sunday and he isnt open anyhow. I have to leave for work in about a couple hrs and I cant just leave her like this. Please, any ideas at all??
