guess it all depends on the method used to freeze him..tossing him in the freezer would certainly be a painful and very inhumane way...dropping him in dried ice probably kill him faster than he can feel the pain...but I would suggest of you do decide to go that path (especially if his condition worsens and he is suffering) take him to the vet to euthenize him.
