He always has greens and pellets, but he NEVER eats the pellets and only the greens when there is nothing else in there or I movie it around like it is alive. Then he pounces on the greens like he is attacking them. I have never noticed him to eat anything other then his food, but he just seems so little to eat so much... although I guess it does come right back out judging from the amount of poop he produces.
