Could be a brumation that started because the temp dropped. Like you said, the AC went on. Does Range stay at the school all the time? Do you have heat/light for him on the weekends, evenings? How cold does his cage get in the night? Do you know how cold the room is at night where he sleeps? How long are his lights on for during the day? Does he have UVB?
Sorry, a lot of questions. Just trying to be helpful. I've rescued a lot of beardies and have seen just about all there is to see. =D

:After much pondering and experimentation wiht his cage temps and food, I think when they turned the AC on (full blast - a lot of the liz's were a little too chilly at first before everything evened out) I think my Range has gone into his first brumation. Not pooping nearly as often, staying under his log most of the day, not interested in his food or his greens. When I have been pulling him out and giving him warm baths or letting him play and sit on me he's been turning his usual orange, but the off-switch goes on the minute I leave him be. Sound like brumation to you? Should I just let him be?
