Havent had any problems with it and it looks real nice. you just gotta make sure you dry it out real good, but it usually takes less than a day with the lights over the cage. I put my dragon in it even with it still wet, since it does dry pretty quick once spread out into a tank. and im pretty sure its not too big of a problem if they swallow some of it. its pretty much just dirt. and he loves to dig around in it! good luck! =)
