Congrats on the new addition to your family!!! The 20 gal is fine for a month or two (depending on how fast he grows). Adults need a cage 4'long 2'high' 2'deep. I assume, since you have been reading, that you have the correct heating, lighting, substrate, greens and correct size crickets for him/her. It's easier to tell the sex of your dragon at around 3-4 months old. I am horrible at explaining how to do this, but I'm sure someone will for you.

:Hello! I just joined this board yesterday and have been eagerly reading everything I can find here and on the rest of the net. I got my first Dragon on Saturday and am really excited. His name is Puff, can anybody tell me if he is a boy or girl or what color he is? Also, he's in a 20 gallon tank because that's what the people at the store told me to get for him, but from the board it looks like people have their dragons in much bigger cages. Is his too small?
