Hi,

It's normal for them to take awhile to get out of the egg. It takes a lot of energy for them to open up the egg and get out of it.. they will move a lil and make a lil progress, then they will rest for awhile then do more. some will do it faster then others. some will get out of the egg in a few hours, it will take others 24 hours or over to do it. just give them sometime and leave them alone until they are out of the egg and active. once they get out of the egg they will rest for a long time before they are active.. congrats on the new hatchlings!

:When the baby BD are hatching do they move alot or does it take them some time to become active? The egg has split....

:One of ours started hatch the egg moves a little then it wont move for a long period of time.

:What do yu think?

:Thanks
