I found it hard to rearrange my beardies cage the other day because I can't move their lights anywhere (they are attached to the top of the cage). But when I feed them I have to take out their rock and log otherwise the crickets hide under there and my beardies can't get them. My little girl (once she's had enough to eat) does the same thing yours did, runs around and climbs at the glass, etc. Once I put everything back, she runs up to the rock or log and happily jumps on it. She was better today, so I think she's learnt that I DO put the stuff back when their finished! So I should think he'll warm up to his new environment. Don't see why not!!

Good luck!
