have you tried feeding him greens from your hand? mine wont eat crickets from my hand and only rarely will eat king mealworms, but if i offer shreded fresh baby spinnich or a small tea spoon of raspberry fat free yogurt, he'll eat it readily. also try putting water on one of your fingers and let him lick it off it feels neat... *pours water in his pants* just kidding! :P
:I have heard this is a good way to get your beardie to "bond" with you.
:The problem is my beardie could be less interested wqhen I hold a cricket in front of him, he has eaten a few from my hand, but both times it was after I had run out of crickets and it took me a while to get more, so he was probibly a lil hungry.
:I don't want to starve him just to get him to eat a few crickets from my hand through, seems mean!
:Whenever I put a cricket in front of him he just ignores it completly, eventually just closing his eyes. I know he's hungry because after I give up on getting him to try and eat them I poor them in his cage, and he flips! He will rush his cage and jump up and down on the side of the glass trying to get at the crickets.
:Ive already tried feeding him inside of his cage but with no luck, same results with waxworms also.
