it has to be the right type, and if he was without proper light for 3 months he may have weakened bones especially along the spinal area. You should probably be adding more calcium to his meals, talk to the vet about this when you take him in.
Either a fall or eating to large/hard to digest prey could be affecting him.
If you can not get him to the Vet til monday or tuesday, keep his temps up for basking and try to keep him stress free
