I think your remaining bd just needs some time to grieve. I know many people will probably disagree with me, but I think they have some sort of reptilian feelings. I had Sydney and Ariel (2 females) housed together from babies until Ariel recently passed away at 2 years of age (so young). Anyways, Syd moped, didnt eat and didnt even want to bask. I gave her extra love, held her more often etc and after a couple weeks she was back to her old self. I think it confuses them when their way of living is changed so quickly and the dragon they lived with all their life just leaves. But maybe I just over analyze. Either way, I would just give your man extra love and time.

If it is a male it is probably best to have him housed alone. I definitely would not put another male with him. Plus if he is an adult, you would have to buy an adult female or wait for a baby to reach his size, which could take a long time.

Like I said, I would just concentrate on him, not another beardy. Goodluck, Lindsay
