:Sounds to me like it was a bad shed. Humidity seems to be a very common problem. What I recommend you do next time your snake goes in blue (eyes cloud) place a humidity box in the tank. This is just a rubbermaid contain a little larger than your snake, with a hole cut in the lid so it can get out. Place moss into the container and water to cover the moss. Then place this over the hot side and place the snake inside. Your snake will eventually found its way out and go in when necessary. This has really helped us get perfect sheds. Our little boy shed earlier this week and it was perfect. Hope this helps.
