But it's kind of fun to play along. One question to ask is how long has the whitesmoke morph been around? It seems to me that it hasn't been that long of a time, but I don't know for sure. Since the orange ghost is a recessive mutation, you would need a minimum of two generations to see that influance. So, *IF* the whitesmoke is part of the genetic background of the coral glows it makes sense to me that the other ingrediant would be another dominant type mutation since you could see interesting results in the first generation. (depending on how long the whitesmoke mutation has been around of course) If it HAS been around long enough to get a couple of generations, I'd think a more likely suspect would be carmel albino. But like I said it's all just speculation anyway.

:i have never seen a pastel with an orange head. Im only speculating of course. Unless like someone stated white smoke is co dom and its offspring start out colorful then fade. Who knows but fun to throw a educated guess out there. Also the pattern also makes me think of orange ghost. Just my nickels worth.
