:I was wondering what the best posible temp\humidity would be for my Ball python. I have him in a 80gal tank and have a temp @80-85 and the humidity is @55% should I adjust? The reason I ask is he did not have a very good shed this past weekend, I'm little worried that I'm doing something Wrong. Any advice or coments are welcome. Thank-you. Dave

You want a higher humidity during his shed cycle and getting it higher in an 80 gal will be dang near impossible. I would give him a moist hide especially during a shed cycle. I also like to soak mine the first time I notice they are opaque and the day they go clear again, but haven't shed yet...they both have done better that way.
