Just thougth you guys might want to hear a good escape story.
About 4 days ago I was cleaning the 3 cages I have in my room, which is always a fun task. Well I finished the last cage and I guess I didn't but put one of the lid clamps on right or something because about 6 hours later I went into my room to grab something I noticed the heat lamp was moved. After inspection of the cage yep my 3 year old Male was missing. My roomate came into my room to see what the fuss was all about, mind you it is 3am. He sees me tearing my entire room apart matters, closet, desk, clothes hamper EVERYTHING. Everywere I looked I came up with nothing. After I put my room back together I setup a heat lamp in my closet, one in my room, and one out in my family room. Hopefully he would be found. Well about a day later I open the door to my room and there he is curled up under the lamp. I feel so much better now that he is safe and home were he belongs.
Side note, my roomate freaked out because he has 2 pet mice and 2 pet rats.....I figure my snake would have found them or the heat lamp. But I didn't tell him that.
