Wait a week or two, then try again with a thawed mouse.
:I got a ball python about 5 weeks ago, supposedly 8 months old and agressivly feeding on live mice/small rats she is about 40 inches, and I was told, she was 750 grams. she has refused to eat for me. She shed once, full shed. I have tried feeding her mice, live and fresh kill, and a live small rat. She shows signs of being afraid of the food, she will ball up when it gets near her, or move away from it. I have tried handling her more, I have tried handling less, day time, night time in her cage, out of her cage, while she was in her hide, letting her strike from hanging from my arm into a container with the mouse. I am stumped. She is still pretty fat, starting to get a little bit lumpy looking.
:Does anyone have ideas for how I can get her to eat?
:Thanks,
:Kith
