I got in 5 snakes on 4-26-03. Suuposedly 1.3 babies, and 0.1 sub adult. Well, I weighed and probed them all on 4-26, when *she* arrived *she* weighed 752 grams, and probed 4 subcaudaul on the right, 6 subcaudaul scales on the left. A little deep for a female buy not unreasonable.
I just happened to weigh her 9 days later on 5-5 and she had gained 230 grams to 982 grams.
Well, I just wieghed and probed *her* again now. *She* now weighs 1055 grams (Yes, I checked the tare)......so *she* must have been pretty dehydrated on 4-26 to make a 300 gram difference between now and then.
When I probed *her* today I came up with 7 subcaudaul both sides (Approx scale count, harder to count now....she wiggles a lot!) AND the probe had white "Goop" on it on BOTH sides. Am I correct in beleiving this white "Goop" could only be sperm plugs and *SHE* is a HE?
BTW~ I am considering taking all 5 to a local shop tomarrow for verification.....as I also probed the 1.3 babies.....and I suspect what I actually have here is 5.0 males. :(
