Oh, how scary! I'm so sorry that you have to go thru this, even if it turns out to be nothing-I understand the stress of worrying about it.
Keep your chin up, though. It may well be nothing. How old is this snake, and how long have you had him?
Do you have any other snakes?(esp. boids) If so, I'd be all for putting some distance between them. Of course, depending on their proximity/contact, if IBD is the case, it may be too late, and a moot point. I'd do it anyway.

Any other symptoms?

You and your snake will be in my thoughts. I feel terrible for you. I'm sorry, and I do hope all turns out well!
