It's not bad. I'm still sporting a pretty little mark on my forarm from my last silly mistake. (OK, I'll play the game with you, but why do I always have to be the mouse?!)

It's geanerally over before you have time to flinch. No big deal. Band Aid.

Probably the best course of action right now is to leave her alone for a while, and let her adjust to her surroundings before you handle her.

BTW- I've found that these can be the best kind of snakes to have, because it's not agression so-to-speak. It's a strong feeding response!
