Ball python likes catnip?

I have a rather large tank in my living room (4'longX 2' high). I have kept a philadendron (SP?) and a spider plant in that tank with Zha-Zha (normal 02 female) for a couple months now. She pretty much just ignores my plants.

Well, I last Sunday bought a live cat-nip plant and put it in that tank, so that my cat couldn't just eat the whole thing. I figured I would snip off a bit every once in a while for my cat, and he can't get into the snake tank so this would be a good plan....... right?

Okay, so the philadendron and the spider plant are still fine......but apparently Zha-Zha LIKES the cat nip....and has completely squashed that poor little plant!

It's a pretty sad little cat nip plant now.....I don't think it will survive! I guess ball pythons like cat nip too!
