But it could turn out to be incubation environment and not genetic at all. I had some problems with my incubator last year (I've built a new one this year). It will take years for me to see if it's genetic and the incubation problems where just coincidence or not.

:I think everything is genetic. If it's not... why does the snake look like that?
:The only problem in the jungles is... It seems to be more than one gene that's different. If you breed a jungle, and breed the offspring to their father, and their offspring to the same jungle, and so on... you should be able to create snakes that are (almost) exactly the same. It just takes a while.
:It would be faster if you had a female jungle as males breed the same year they're born if they eat enough.
