Somebody brought me a bunch of RDHs for my snakes. Unfortunately, they stuck them in a bunch of boxes and drove them across the state in the summertime, and they all got heatstroke and died. I was able to revive one of them. By the time I got that poor little thing home, I'd worked so hard to save her, and she was such a survivor. And cute. Then it happened. The kids saw her. OK, so she can't be snake food. But what to do with her.

Well, we now have a pet dwarf hamster named Nugget ('cause she looks like a chicken nugget) who lives happily in the tank with the three-toed box turtle.

Yes, I know that rodents and reptiles don't generaly get along, but they are best of buds.
(And little Nugget has really become a nice part of our family)
