My husbands ball will be 4 yrs this fall.Last October he stopped feeding. For awhile I wasn't worried about it cause he's a great eater and his weight is good.I also thought he is finally in breeding mode(this is the first ball we've had to reach sexual maturity)it will pass.He still won't take anything.I've switched from large mice to rats, frozen to live to see if it triggers anything. He won't even look at his food.Seems quite frightend of it.He's never had a problem before this. He's been eating frozen since he was 4 months. His muscle tone is still VERY good. He's not dehydrated.Hasn't lost much weight either.I'm not sure what to do.I really don't want to force feed.I don't see how that could trigger a feeding response.Should I wait another month or two and see how he's doing than.My husband is very worried about him and now I'm getting a little concerned myself. He's not stressed out, has been in perfect health. The temp is fine as with the humidity.I've been increasing the amount of light he gets during the day to see if that does something. He has been very active during the past month.Help.
