WHat is the best way to properly heat a 10 gallon aquarium and a 20 gallon aquarium (not at the same time but in general) What temps work best. Hot end and cold end of course. Also, where should you be measuring the temperature, substrate level or the top of the aquarium. For instance if I used a thermostat where would I want to put the probe. Thats the reason why ceramic heat emitters and heat lights throw me off because it is hard to measure their heat and they don't really JUST heat like one area ya know. Also, I know that Ceramic heat... come it different wattages, if you used a thermostat would you recommend getting the one with the most wattage because you can always turn it down? I have read alot about BP's but I still have a few questions. Do ball pythons like things to climb on like fake branches. In the wild do they ever climb trees, ya get my point. Because if they don't you can't really have a basking spot like bearded dragonsd and iguanas have ya know?
