I agree, first of all I would NEVER trust a pet store, they say things all the time that they either THINK is right or they just want your $$. I had somone at Petco tell me I could keep a adult BP in a 10 gallon and it would be fine! He also said they were healthy and you could see the mites!!! It was no CB like the tag said! I would definitly read the book suggested, The Ball Python Manual, BEFORE getting one. I would also buy from someone that you know there CB and healthy and even ask for them to be prestarted on PK or FT mice/rats. I say you study up for a little while and buy one from me :-D I would be happy to even hold the baby to make sure it sheds a few times well and is taking dead mice/rats. I have no problem doing so. I won't start breeding till next season though, so RESEARCH in the mean time. There are allot of responsible breeders on here also if you don't want to wait, The sutherlands, NERD, ect... just to list a couple. Good luck! Krystal
