I have missed ovulation before and I find that your case is very common. What will happen is she will go through a normal shed cycle breifly before ovulation and then in as little as two weeks later go through the pre-lay shed. Being that this shed cycle is so close to her last shed cycle I would atleast write the date down and hope. Its hard to say for sure though if you didn't see ovulation. Also before I got to see a few good ovulation I mistook the "building to" ovulation as the actually ovulation so be careful and keep a close eye. Nothings wrong with writing the dates down though and making sure you are prepared just in case. Hope this helps, Jason
