: Can any one tell me about the venom structure of Ahaetulla nasutus (neurotoxic or hemotoxic) and its effect on humans. Also how much venom is injected in a normal bite.

I don't know what exact venom these snake poses. But I have worked with them and the prey items they caught died within 1 minute after they where caught.
The specie I wrked with was Ahsetulla prasina.

I heard that when you are bitten by them you have to be carefull.
They first have to bite you with their rearfangs but they are very fast in cheawing / biting.
I heard that someone was bitten by one of his animals and the bite wound was swollen up. But he did't had
real permanent damage.?

I hoped I helped you in some way!

My advice is handle them only when you need to. Their eye site is one of the best in snakes and they can even see still objects!!
