You will have a great time in Thailand I'm sure,however you won't be able to take any snakes out of Thailand as they have a export ban,which has been in force for some time now.
There is quite a good place in Bangkok,where you can see alot of venomous snakes including the King Cobra.
You will have to ask for the address of the 'Red cross'snake park,it's right next door to a V.D. clinic,which may well also find of interest if you see some of the other sites in Thailand,if you know what I mean! LOL!
Hope you have a great time and don't choke on the fumes in Bangkok!
