On Thursday January 20, 2000, Matt Yorston of Darwin, Australia, had $100,000 worth of reptiles stolen from his breeding shed. Among others, 3 rare Green Pythons (Condrophython viridis)were stolen. These particular animals are DNA tested so they can easily be traced. As well, black headed pythons, olive pythons, water pythons, children's pythons, carpet pythons, spencer monitor's were stolen. This animals have not been DNA tested but related animals are in other collections and will be DNA tested to use this as evidence in case the reptiles are found. There is a reward for information leading to finding these animals. If you have any information call Matt Yorston in Darwin, Australia.
