often bearded dragons get a little lazy as they get older and prefer not to chase smaller and faster insects (unless of course they are starving). If your beardy is eating mostly veges, I'd be thankful as this is a very easy food to supply. I feed all my large dragons on mixed veges and fruit, with cat food , once a week, and twice weekly on mealworms. Mealworms can cause intestinal blockages in smaller animals, that are fed almost entirely on mealworms. The combination with fruit, veges and catfood should be fine.Adam.
