Dear Ethan,
I'd recommend "A Photographic Guide to Reptiles of Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore" by Merel J. Cox and Paul van Djik.
Merel Cox also authored another book called "Captive Husbandry of Thailand Snakes" although I could be wrong about the title. You can look them up in Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.com.
Good luck and have a safe journey.

: Hi there, I'm moving to Thailand in May from the U.S. and am looking for any kind of good info on herps in Thailand (ie websites, books, etc). I'm particularly interested in what kind of herps there on on Koh Phangan and the surrounding islands as that is where I will be living. I'll be running an animal hospital there and have many years of reptile experience so if you happen to live on or near Phangan, feel free to look us up.
