We can find Japalura splendida at South-West China and north of Vietnam. Like to take insect, including ladybird. lay 5 to 7 eggs at may or june. You can find more info from "Fauna Sinica, Reptilia Vol. 2, Squamata, Lacertilia, by Zhao Ermi and others, Science Press, Beijing, China, 1999.
: Are Japalura splendens and J. splendida synonyms? If so Where can I find information on either of them? If not however, where can I find information on J. splendens? I really need to find out quick because someone gave one to me and I need to find a perminant home for it. I already have a 90 gal. for Pogona vitticeps, a 33 gal. for some Anolis sp. and I'm setting up my 54 gal. for fish so space is a little cramped. At hte same time I don't want to just give it away to someone who isn't going to take care of it. I want to give them as much info as possible. Please help me.
: Thanks, Clayton Northey
