Herping in Australia

Hey all.... next year I will be in Australia from the beginning of August to the middle of December and I want to do some herping while there. Does anyone know of any good field guides that give lots of pics, and locality data? Can anyone give me some personal accounts?

I will mostly be in and around Queensland and the Cape York Peninsula, but I will have some travel time to myself. It would be best of you emailed me, but I guess I can check the forum again!
