I was reading about my tincs the other day and I read that they avoid bodies of water. They dont even enjoy being misted and will hide undercover untill it stops, even making frantic leaps to get away from the droplets. So to answer your question, there is no way to encourage tincs to even test the water with their toes :-). Just a small water dish will do so they can lay eggs. Good luck!
