Thanks for your encouragements! I would have made a shallower pool because I think actually they look nicer, but the glass cutter drilled the glass wrong!!! But as far as danger to a Tink... Patrick at saurian.com has said that Tincs are not actually poor swimmers, its just that the females fight to the death with the looser being pinned in the water til drowning. However, I have taken some precautions:

1. I raised the bottom with rocks.
2.The pools is really only 2 inches deep at the deepest and it quickly recedes to 1 in. or less.
3.There are plenty of marginal plants that aid in floatation. 4. My water is very slow moving.
5.The shoreline has pleny of "low Beaches" to get out
6. Only one female in this tank.

Note: I can see that they do not prefer the water, however, they have been seen daily belly flopping onto the marginal plants to pick off food sources. Now just after 1 week in this tank, they listen for the ritualistic drumming of my ff culture container while I tap the flies to the bottom as a signal that a meal is on its way. The sit at water's edge, heads poked forward and 4th toe twitching to stare at me and nearly communicating by way of telepathy "we want food...we want food!"

:that looks great! really nice. but isnt the water too deep for cobalts?
