What I do is remove them from the tank put the eggs in a Pringles lid (BTW this work as a great egg laying site as opposed to petri dishes) and I keep them in a Tupperware container with a shallow bit of water on the bottom and a little water in the container I keep them farley warm and they seem to do fine.
