Man, if you could only be so lucky! My tincs love springtails more than anything else . . . even more than termites. I've seen one literally sit over an area of high density of springtails shortly after I poured them into the tank and eat literally hundreds. He never moved from that spot for 3 hours! I don't think you can overpopulate your tank, but if you did, it wouldn't cause a problem. Trust me, your frogs will love you for it!

:I'm thinking about culturing some springtails, but I'm curious as to whether these bugs will overpopulate my tinc viv over time. Any thoughts, suggestions? Any recipes for culture medium would also be great. Thanks
