I don't know anything about anoles but that you shouldn't put darts back in that tank after letting the anoles go unless you clean it really really well, like take everything out and scrub it. My parents have never had problems with my frogs and fish, so just tell them to read one of your books, that got my dad into the hobby and helping support me in it more. Good Luck
