What are you using X10 stuff? You can get cheap thermometer probes, but I have yet to find ones for humidity.

:Thanks...I am working on the monitoring part now myself...I already have lights, misting, and fans computer controlled and setup to email me when events happen...I just need some kind of auto control based on conditions....always something...hehehhe
