some small Tinc questions

most of these question i couldnt find an answer to. i thin i have a few more but cant remember them right now.

1) do tincs pounce on food or use their tounges to catch it?
2) at what age do they call? do males only call?
3) what kind of vitamin(s) can you use to help bring out their yellows?
