Quick- What to do for a temp home while final tank finishes?

Hey guys: I have some beautiful tink darts on the way, should arrive tomarrow. I have been building my tank but its taking me so much longer then I expected. So the final tank won't be ready for their arrival. I need to set up a temp. To sanitize an old critter keeper, do I just use a solution of bleach and water, then soak or something? Will that kill off anything and everything possibly harmful(or should I just go buy a new plastic box-if so, what size for 2 tinks?)And can I just put some pillow moss on the floor? What else would you guys do to make a temp home for say up to one week?
