wow, i just got my female, and hope to have some eggs soon from the pair. if i were you, i would steal an egg from a laid batch and feed those off to it. i personally dont know if the crushed flakes would keep it alive. i guess an egg from new batches every now and then couldnt hurt. and supplemtnet him with a FF in between. good luck! =)
