Wow, that's a good deal. That will give you lots of room to work with. I would suggest compact fluorescent lights. I have started using them myself and am already seeing great results. I just retrofitted a fluorescent strip light with 2 CF bulbs/ballasts and it really lights up the 50 it is on. make sure you plug up any holes before putting the darts in the tank, these guys are all escape artists.

:Well they were going to be in a 10 gallon tank, but I found a pet store that is remodeling and everythings was half price. So I'm going back tomorrow to get a 55 gallon for $20. And some lights and plants. I need ideas for lighting. The tank was used for salt water so I can put a humidifyer on easy.
