Mine is a Sony f707, and it has more capabilities than most will need. I think the macro is up to 10mm, and it can get very good pics. It maybe overkill for the average photo taker.

I like Sonys, and Canons. Both make some very nice 3-4 megapixel cameras. I used to have a Sony S70 (3.3 megapixel) before my F707 (5 megapixel), and it also took great pics.

:I have seen some pretty incredible pics posted on this site, and I would just like to know what types of camera everyone is using, and whether they are pleased with the macro capabilities.
:I have a terrible time getting pics that are in focus on my cheap point and shoot digital (but it was free, so why complain?). I'm hoping to get anew digital camera at some point in time, so any help would be appreciated. I have already noted that cobalt uses the Canon S330 for his closeups, so thanks for the help.
